A Symbolic Sculpture/Fountain
The concept of Tri
Quad Interdependence by artist, Lily Tolpo, was channeled from an inspirational vision in 1968 and is reflected in the
design. The sculpture/fountain depicts the balancing act of the elements that exist in the lives of Humankind. The
truths the Tri Quad Interdependence embraces are universally accepted and are the substance of this work,
an exercise in abstract thinking on a very basic subject – survival.

According to the artist, it speaks to those who seek to understand many of life’s
questions, answers and consequences. The TQI is an invitation to all to probe the depths of its symbolism
as a tool to personally create a meaningful path toward ones destiny.
TQI holds no permanent labels on individuals
but demonstrates conditions and rhythmic links to perpetual motion of time, change.
